TrackMaster Nexus™ Whipstock System

True Single-Trip Sidetracks: Trip, Scrape, Set, and Mill in One Run

The TrackMaster Nexus™ whipstock system redefines single-trip cased hole sidetracking. It combines rapid conveyance, integral wellbore cleaning, optimized window geometry, and high-performance milling into one run, so operators trip fast, scrape, set, and mill all at once. The result is faster, more reliable casing exits with fewer trips, less rig exposure, and lower emissions.

Proven Across Several Sidetracks

TrackMaster Nexus was developed from a comprehensive study of more than 360 cased hole sidetracks over two years, onshore and offshore, across varied casing sizes and grades, and validated through finite element analysis and full-scale gantry testing.

Engineered Features That Drive the Gains

The TrackMaster Nexus system is designed to help operators execute efficient and reliable sidetrack operations while reducing operational complexity in challenging well environments.

Integral wellbore cleaning

The TrackMaster Nexus scraper, a unibody, non-rotating scraper and brush with 360-degree coverage, cleans the casing ID below the anchor or packer in the same run, removing the separate cleaning trip entirely.

Optimized window geometry

An extended slide ramp, achieved without adding whipstock length, delivers a 5% longer window and 10% lower equivalent DLS, easing pass-through for today’s longer, stiffer drilling BHAs.

High-performance milling

A one-piece mill mandrel with integrated follow and dress blades, a high-torque double-shoulder connection with the highest make-up torque in the BHA, and strategically placed TruEdge™ cutters deliver gauge assurance and window precision while milling higher grades and heavier walls.

Advanced predictive modeling

WhipSim® software models the specific window geometry and evaluates liner and BHA pass-through, including per-component dog-leg severity, before deployment, raising execution reliability at the wellsite.
