Complex Fishing Operation in Malaysia

Wellbore Integrity Solutions’ (WIS) Red Baron team successfully retrieved a
complex fish left in the hole by providing creative solutions for Hibiscus Malaysia.

Strategic operational planning and execution delivers success for Hibiscus Malaysia.

Results:

• Successful retrieval of fishing operation was performed as per customer requirements.
• The armored cable and flatpack cable,  totaling approximately 12,216 ft cable length, was recovered with various modified rope spear fishing equipment.
Similarly customized fishing equipment was used to retrieve 2,255 ft of 23/8 inch REDA coil.
• The 125.1 ft of ESP was then retrieved.
• Total overall length of the fish recovered was 14,596.1ft (Cables, REDA Coil and ESP).
